I went to this place with a writer to video the hunt. He had been there before and said I was really going to enjoy it. He was right. It isn't a remote fly in camp and is right in Lynn Lake Manitoba. You can fly or drive. They had a comfortable bunk house and lodge and the meals are cooked by the Outfitters wife. The meals were home cooked and wonderful. My favorite was the deep fried Walleye. We even got to spend some time on the lake with Ross, one of the old timers in the operation. He took us to one of his secret honey holes and we caught tons of fish!

We were there to bear hunt and Dick shot beautiful 6 and a half footer. It was a monster. I had a great time at Grey Owl and made some good memories including the 150 lb bear that crawled up in the tree with us.
